Motherhood~There is no more demanding work in all the world, no more awe-inspiring job description than raising godly seed. It will challenge all the genius, talent and grace that any human being could possess… It is the highest calling any woman can enter. ~Walter J. Chantry

Crash!

Okay, well I guess I see for myself blogging every day is not a reality for me! I can barely get online everyday to check email for ten minutes let alone on my blog. One day, perhaps!
Well, since my last blog we had a mini crisis in our home with my oldest son, Chad Jr. Running around the house as boys often do he tripped over the vacuum cord and fell into the vacuum and dining room chair. He ended up with a huge gash on his forehead, incredibly deep and wide...We rushed over to the local ER where he was stitched up with eight stitches and rewarded with a big ol orange popsicle and playdough from the toy store. God was watching over us, as always. The gash could of been much worse. It was right above his eye brow. Thanking God it didn't effect his eye or much worse, there were no head injuries. Regardless, it was still a really scary time for mom and dad! This is the first time we have had to rush one of our boys to the ER and I pray the last but I know that is really not realistic! Boys are so rough and wild and it seems not even I (yeah right!) can tame the male species. I love having boys, I really do but their ability to climb and scale high objects--well I am still getting used to that. The nurses were wonderful but each one told me...mom, this may be the first time for stitches but definitly not the last! And each friend I talk to about the incident reassures me of the same thing. Boys will be boys and I suppose that never changes! But for now, it's all over. Stitches are out as of this morning and scar looks to be healing quite nicely.

I know, boys are rough and tough! Boo-boos happen daily here! and thankfully the Lord gave us strong bodies! I am so glad the stitches are out...hopefully no more trips to the hospital for awhile, except to have a baby! :)
